About Me
Allison Akhnoukh
I am a bridge builder between worlds—one of bold leaders creating impact and one of expanded consciousness unlocked through the transformative power of psychedelic plant medicines.
Professionally, my journey spans 25 years at the intersection of leadership, innovation, and impact. I’ve worked with leaders running some of the most successful educational management organizations in the U.S., while also supporting early-stage startups striving to reimagine education and healthcare. Each step of my career has centered on helping people realize their fullest potential—whether for themselves, their organizations, or society at large.
On a personal level, I have experienced the deeply transformative power of working with psychedelic plant medicines in an intentional way. In 2019, I was at a crisis point both personally and professionally. There was a conflict between the impact I wanted to have for my family and in the broader world. I felt that I was sitting on a sea of stuck energy and suffering from chronic migraines as a result. With the care and support of a professional guide, I began my work with psilocybin - both high dose ceremonies and ongoing microdosing. These experiences were instrumental in helping me to redefine the game I wanted to play and the impact I was capable of having for myself, my family and the broader world. Over the years, this work has also deepened my belief that true growth happens not only in peak experiences but in our daily habits, routines and thought patterns - the ceremony of everyday life.
The coaching I offer draws from both of these worlds. I speak the language of performance, success, and impact, guiding leaders toward excellence. But I also bring a second layer—one that invites a deep understanding of our emotional being and an appreciation of our interconnectedness with the world around us. I believe that the future of leadership lies in bridging these two worlds: leading with both head and heart to create change that is meaningful, courageous, and lasting.
I live in Cascais, Portugal, with my husband and our three boys. When I’m not coaching, you’ll find me in the forest, at the beach, or planning our next travel adventure.
